Melbourne pair AIYA make the sort of intricate, unpredictable alternative pop, with a soul and R&B undercurrent, that FKA twigs popularised once again last year. Formed of Ayten Ahmet and Felicity Yang, the twosome have an EP "in the works", but we've already been given a flavour of what their debut record might hold with the mellow 'If I Could Get' and its follow up - and stronger sister - 'Go'. AIYA are all about finding the beauty in minimalism it seems, and 'Go' has that in bucketfuls with sparse jabs of skittish drums, wafting samples and hypnotic harmonies weaving in and out of focus.
